FILTRATION

Soleno Textiles’ nonwovens for technical use are designed for highly complex and demanding applications. They are found, among others, in fields involving the filtration of air or liquids.

Air filtration

For use in the air filtration sector, nonwovens are assembled to deliver the required flow of air, reduce static pressure and increase resistance to chemicals and humidity, depending on their intended use. Pore size and type of construction are among the properties that determine the effectiveness of a filtering medium in industries as diverse as lumber, food, pharmaceuticals, steel works, cement plants, foundries and aluminum plants.

Liquid filtration

For filtering liquids, the textiles’ pore size and type of construction determines the effectiveness of the filtering medium in allowing liquid to flow through while retaining unwanted fine soil particles, including polluting sediment.

Nonwoven TXC-10 textile

Used as a filtering envelope for high density corrugated polyethylene drainage pipes, TXC-10 unwoven textile has the following characteristics:

Excellent retention of fine particles under medium to high outflow conditions
Excellent permeability
Consistent pore structure even under high stress
Good resistance to UV rays
